Golden Gardens

Golden Gardens is situated on the way down to Shilshole Bay, right on Puget Sound and with stunning views of the Olympics. The off-leash park is away from the beach, in a large fenced area that is wooded and flat. The trees provide the perfect amount of shade to make this a prime summer park. Sparky and I have been here a few times, but always on weekdays-when we've seen only a few people and dogs, which Sparky liked. I'm sure it's well-used in the early evenings and on weekends. There are places for humans to sit, a restroom and water available. In the winter, the park gets quite muddy. If you go in the evening, try to hit the sunset hour-and take a camera.
