8806 8th Avenue SW, West Seattle
This West Seattle park is by far my favorite. With 80+ acres of trails and open space, Westcrest wraps itself around a reservoir. The off-leash wonderland is a sweeping platform that looks across the sound and onto downtown. There are big grassy areas for chasing balls, benches for view catching, along with water for dogs. Trails wind through the park so it's perfect for off-leash walks. There's plenty of shade for hot days; in the winter, it doesn't get too muddy, and at Westcrest, you never feel crowded. A really a beautiful place.
